Win Win

Happy Belated Birthday to Win Win! One of my closest girl friends in Singapore. (I don’t mean to do this late, please forgive me. *grin*)
How should I describe her?

Hmmm… She strikes me as someone who is quiet, diligent and oblivious to things happening around her. She can be bubbly and cheeky to people whom she feels comfortable with though. I would say that she is one who is quietly smart. She is multi-talented, skilful from organ to chess playing. She is also good in Photoshop and Flash!

I guess that must be why there are always guys going after her, besides attracted by her BIG pair of watery eyes. Hehe…

Oh, and one more thing! She never changes! Her look is still the same demure young Win Win just as she was 4 years ago. Check out the banner if you don’t believe me.

All the best for your future endeavours! Remember, “Win-Win is a belief in the Third Alternative. It’s not your way or my way; it’s a better way. A higher way.

—————————————————————————————————————————–

Seems weird, I haven’t been posting in my blog regarding myself for the past 2 weeks! It’s all about updating it with birthday banners. Haha.

I wish I have more time to sit down and finalise with my own blog design and get along by doing it. It has been pushed back indefinitely due to my lack of discipline!

Anyway, hall has started its orientation. And it is good fun to go back with one whole bunch of friends for photo-taking session. They have changed caterer and food is much much better now compared to the ‘old’ days. *grin*

I know my passion for hall is still burning because today, I still remembered how naive and blur and kampong-like I looked when I joined hall orientation (thanks to the photos). I remembered how hard I slogged together with my RHOC buddies to prepare for orientation for 2 years. And I remembered how difficult it was for me to juggle between internship and float tasks at one go.

Well, thanks to a bunch of friends who stand by me through thick and thin! I will not forget these 4 special years of my life. And I am glad that I chose to use it to enhance my organisational and people management skills.

And oh, I just remember I must post up my convocation photos and write about it too! (when I got time that is) *grin*

Bubbles aka Sister

She always complain that she is fat and she has tummy. She likes to cook and her ultimate aim is to become a blogging mother. She sucks in Science stream (in secondary school) but is a first class honours student in Accounting (in university). She fights with me since young. She is always bullied to do household chores by me. She is the first one to dye hair in the Ng family. She likes Powerpuff Girls especially Bubbles. She always sends me little gifts. She is taller and bigger size than me, which strangers always mistake me as the younger sibling instead.

She is my sister! And I am proud of her despite all the differences we have.

Happy birthday and may all your wishes come true.

Love ya.

P/S: I finished this post at 11:24pm, 20 July 2006. Waiting for the new day to arrive so that I can post this on her birthdate. *grin*

SHY

I don’t know why I suddenly decided to do this…partly because I want to create a birthday banner for SHY to wish him all the best.

I hope I can create a banner for each of my friend whom I remember their birthdays by, and it will be called THE BIRTHDAY BANNER PROJECT! *clap clap* It will not only serve as a reminder for myself to check calendar every month, and also reminds me of how fondly I think of them. (Warning: birthday banner project may come to a halt! Whoops! *grin*)

Well, SHY just happens to be lucky (or unlucky?) that he is my first guinea pig! Haha.

He is a good chap, understanding and forever attentive to your needs. We girls always say he is the perfect boyfriend because he always puts in effort to create surprises or special handmade gifts. =)

He has done well academically. He has beautiful co-curricular records. He has numerous interests that range from sports to designs and photography! If you know him, you will find him an amazing yet knowledgable guy. (and his room, a beautifully decorated place!)

That’s him with the “Bad” tag! During our last DND, he decided to come in as a bad guy. Check out his fake tattoo, his hair-do and total outfit! I didn’t have all the ‘act seh’ poses with me, but trust me, he can turn into a soft looking bad guy.

He sounds interesting eh?
Too bad…he’s taken!
Haha!

ROM!

Hehe…not mine unfortunately.

But I simply cannot hide my excitement when I heard of the news! It is the first ROM coming from my friends! Not news of shotgun marriages of my distant friends, but a real serious because-of-love ROM of my close friend! He proposed during World Cup half time, and he made a short video by himself and played it on VCD! How sweet! *beaming from ear to ear*

But regretfully, he decided that his ROM is going to be attended only by immediate family members. So guys, we got to wait until April2007 for the official wedding dinner.

Does anyone know who this guy is already? (No prizes for those who can guess it correctly though. *grin*)

Embrace Weekends!

These two are the days when you can totally slack! All working people should:-

  • Sleep long long (unfortunately not for my case this weekend).
  • Do whatever you desire (unfortunately I have to finish up the long overdue designs for my hall).
  • Cook your own meals (unfortunately I drank soya bean for lunch and ate out for dinner).

I certainly don’t mind doing all these things frankly. It’s the thought that “Weekend is here!” that counts. But it also doesn’t mean that I don’t like to work. I enjoy my work so far, busy learning and absorbing as much as I can. It’s just that working lasts 8 hours, sometimes even more. It is certainly a drastic change from my daily 3 - 5 hours lessons in university.

It’s time to get used to working hours.

And let’s shout together with utmost enthusiasm on every Friday, “LET’S EMBRACE WEEKENDS!
