Ipoh Trip October 30
Erm…I know this is a long overdue post. But well, here it goes!
Actually there’s really nothing I can talk about Ipoh. Besides being my hometown, it is a place for good and cheap food. I’ve often mentioned this fact among my friends, especially when Devil tried to introduce us to good food in Singapore. This trip was certainly meant for eating only. And honestly speaking, I felt a little stressed. What if Ipoh food is not as good as I claimed? What if they don’t like the food I like?
The people who went were Devil, *periwinkle*, JalanKayu, segnick, SuCKeR and me. And of course, we were joined by my family! Sis came back too, and we had a tremendous time chit-chatting! =)

The food my parents brought the visitors to try were: Ipoh Old Town coffee, chicken and bean sprouts, dim sum, seafood, zhi char and fishball noodles.

Have the images made your saliva dropped already? Haha. Besides, we also had our fair share of shopping time at Kinta City and Ipoh Parade; ate Secret Recipe, Kenny Rogers and KFC. Seriously, everyone was indulging like crazy (maybe except JalanKayu *grin*)! Even my sister was taking the opportunity to ask me to buy this that for her.
I felt that the 3 days passed by very fast. In a glimpse of moment, it’s time to leave again. Honestly, I felt that I hadn’t spent enough time with my family, besides the night time chat in my parent’s room. We always did that last time because it’s a way to exchange stories and insights, and receive ‘advise’ from parents.
Going back home has always made me appreciate what I have now and motivate me to move forward. This trip is no exception.
To my friends: Hope you have enjoyed your stay in my hometown, and definitely the food! Aren’t my parents and sister friendly? Haha.
