If you’re remarkable, amazing or just plain spectacular, you probably shouldn’t have a resume at all.

I’m not sure whether I can truly believe in this argument. But I don’t mind giving it a try since everything is turning online now. In fact, I have submitted a totally unconventional resume before, only to be turned down because I didn’t have the design qualifications (they thought I have).

Nonetheless, this article by Seth Godin is a good read - an inspiring one. It has spurred me to really think of what I want to achieve with my website.

So, how many applications you are using/ have used/ heard before?

I was a busy girl yesterday night - hitting F5 every 5 mins on Malaysiakini, MSN-ing with my friends in Malaysia and calling parents now and then.

The votes were counted and results were announced yesterday. I didn’t follow through the whole night, but I know it will be a gratifying news. This morning I woke up, I refreshed Malaysiakini. And true to my belief, BN has done badly, losing 5 states to opposition - Kedah, Penang, Perak (my state! Kit Siang won in Ipoh Timur!), Selangor and Kelantan.

Thanks to the voters, we have created history for Malaysia, and a new hope for our future generation (at least for the next 4 years). I am confident that the opposition will do good for the country, after so many years of “battles” and “jails”. I also hope that BN will realise how much harm they have done to the country, how much money they have wasted for the so-called mega projects, and how many good people they have driven away from the country. I hope they truly wake up this time.
